How to Pack 99s: The Late-Game FC 26 SBC Grind

Right now, at the end of FC 26 before FC 27 lands, you can pack an incredible number of 99s. If you run this grind properly you should average at least one or two a day. I completed the Yamal 99 SBC in two minutes because I had so much fodder built up from doing exactly this.

Here is the routine.

Start when your softban limit is fresh

EA quietly limits how many SBCs you can submit per hour and per day. FUTGenie shows you exactly where you stand at the top of the SBC hub, so wait until your hourly count reads 0/90 before you start a session. Burning your allowance early is the one thing that will stall the whole grind.

For more on the tracker and the rest of the tools on that screen, see SBC hub tools.

Step 1: Farm fodder with the unlimited upgrade SBCs

Open the 10x 85+ Upgrade SBC and let FUTGenie auto complete it. Any special card now satisfies the requirement, which makes these very cheap to feed, and they are unlimited, so this is your first real chance of packing a 99.

Run around 30 of them. The fastest way to do that is Solve Multiple Times, which queues up the repeats and previews every squad before it submits.

Open packs while you solve

Do not sit there opening packs by hand between solves. Set up an Autopilot flight plan that solves the SBC and opens the packs it earns, and the whole loop runs itself while you get on with something else.

When a batch finishes you get a summary of everything that came out of it, best players first. Here is what one of our users found waiting at the end of a session:

Step 2: Cash in your SBC storage on the player picks

By the time you are 30 completions in, your SBC storage will be full of untradeable fodder from all those packs. Spend it.

Start with 1 SBC Rewind Player Pick, which is where that 99 Ferran Torres or Unai Simon comes from. Then do the 98+ FUTTIES Player Pick, which is another excellent shot at a big card. Any time a 97+ pack or pick drops, put that at the front of the queue and solve it straight away, because those are your best odds of a 99 in the whole rotation.

This is the moment the whole grind is built around. Every card on the pick shows its price and Genie Grade, so you can see at a glance which one is actually the best pull rather than just the shiniest:

A player pick offering a 99 Álex Baena, a 98 Haaland and a 98 Chiellini, each showing its price and Genie Grade

Step 3: Repeat until you hit the daily limit

Once your storage is clear, go back and run another 30 of the 85x10 upgrades, then spend the storage again. Keep cycling until you are close to your daily softban limit.

Bonus: reset your softban limit on old gen

When you have used up your daily allowance, you are not necessarily finished. The old gen version of Ultimate Team tracks SBC submissions separately, which gives you another 300.

Log into old gen Ultimate Team on your console, complete any SBC there, then back out of FUT. Refresh the web app with FUTGenie loaded and you will be on the other FC 26 game's SBC system, with a fresh allowance to work through.

Do this every day

If you get through 150 or more of the 85x10 upgrades a day (or the 86x10s once those go unlimited) and keep converting your storage into player picks, your chances of hitting 99s climb fast. The whole point is that the solver does the squad building for you, so a grind that used to eat an evening now takes minutes.

Stick with it and this is the kind of thing that turns up in your unassigned pile:
